Val’s Diary

School’s over at last! Summer holidays are here but who wants to apend them in the countryside? Not Val, of course! She hates the country, but eventually she’ll change her mind. Guess why! Read her diary and find out.

She tells her diary all aout herself, her moods, her emotions and her dreams. This country holiday is reallly boring and she can’t stand it, but don’t despair… something very exciting will happen soon, thanks to Luke and the others!

In this story’s heroine Val wrote her dairy every day. The biggining of this story, she hate countryside. But she encountered her family’s kind neighberhood, Mrs Perry, and very handsome boy, Luke. So she came to like this countryside gradually. However, she still wanted to return her flat, and wanted to meet her best friend, Sally. She was caught between love and friendlyship. I hope her love is going well. By teh way, I like countryside. I want to go to the Greenhill! I enjoyed this story.

iPad

I used iPad and used “Choujimaku”. Choujimaku is an application which we can see movies with English subtitles. We can  enjoy seeing movies and learning English! iPad is very good tool to study English!

Viking Adventure

 The children find themselves on a longship aat the start of a viking adventure. Can they save the viking village when raiders attack.

I think viking are cool and strong. But I felt that civilization and technology are more stronger than them.The children could beat viking by using only torch!

The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Once upon a time there were three billy goats were going to look for some sweet grass to eat.

The third billy goats is cool! The first, and second billy goats were afraid the ugly troll, but he didn’t be afraid and butted the troll with his big horns! Now, they are happy(^^) I like this story.

HENRY AND MUDGE and the Bedtime Thumps

  This ninth book of their adventures they spend a scary night together at Henry’s grandnother’s house in the country.

I like p.7 and p.8’s illustration the best in this book! The illustration is so beautiful! And my favorite scene is that they sleep outside together.They are so cute and I felt they are real best friend!

Victrian Adventure

The magic keyglows and takes the children to London in the past. When they visit Buckingham Palace, they get quite a surprise.

I think Biff and Chip and Kipper learned that it is hard to work and get money. To eat supper, we have to work. And I was surprised at people’s poverty in old roma.

PETER PAN

 The story of a boy who never grew up, with his friends Wendy and the jealous fairy Tinker Bell. Why are there no Lost Girls in Neverland? What did the crocodile want to eat?

I have never read or seen Peter Pan’s story. So I want to see the Disney Peter Pan movie. By the way, I don’t want to be an adult!! (what is called “Peter Pan Syndrome”?) I envy Peter Pan! And Tinker Bell is very cute♡ I want to meet her.

This book consists of three short story. Many ghosts play an active part in this book. I like second story the best, because a ghoust girl is very kind girl. I am very timid, but I think I can make friends with her(^^) Maybe, there are a lot of gentle and kind ghosts in the world. But I don’t want to meet ghosts, after all…

The Three Little Pigs

 The three little pigs are brothes. They are going into the forest. They want to build three houses.

The first pig and the second pig are lazy, so their houses are fell down by walf’s blowing. But the third pig is clever and hard worker, so he build his house by bricks. His house is very strong so walf can’t destroy it. This story tells us importance of making a effort.

Hansel&Gretel

 Hansel and Gretel are lost, and starving in the deep dark forest. Even stale bread and a acary stepmother would be better than endless trees. Then they spy a house made of chocolate and cake. Surely it’s too good to be ture…

Hensel and Gretel’s stepmother is really ruthless. They are so poor… But they are very clever! They have ruthless parents, and they are in poverty and they are left in the deep forest and encounter mean witch, but they try to live. And they become happy with their kind father fnally. By the way, I want to go to the house made by sweets♡
